More Again From Adel's Grove and Lawn Hill National Park (NP)

Wednesday the 9th we went into the NP again for some more walks. Linda and I walked to the Cascades which was not really exciting. Then I climbed the Island Stack and did the walk around the top of the plateau. There were some lovely vistas there.

Then Linda and I climbed Constance Range. The rangers need to get their classifications right. They called the Island Stack difficult and the Constance Range moderate. Constance Range was more strenuous than Island Stack.

There were views looking back to Adel’s Grove and you can see where the waterway travels through. The landscapes remind me so much of the Kimberley.

A long walk back, downhill but so not so bad.

Just a short video of this peaceful little spot, but then it is peaceful everywhere here. Listen for the birds. The browny yellow stuff on the surface is not a weed. It is created by the calcium. The river is not stagnant, just sometimes looks a bit that was because of calcium.

Then back home for lunch and of course, a swim.

That night we had dinner on the deck (dining area at Adel’s Grove). Lamb shanks and beef goulash which was very nice. There were two other couples who we sat with and it was a nice time and a good way to finish our time at Adel’s Grove.
